The original Chef Cafe opened in Manhattan in 1943 and earned the rank of a local institution before closing after decades in downtown Manhattan. The present day Chef Cafe, which opened in 2008, pay homages to its predecessor with S&N Design’s vintage-inspired logo, menu and website.
