S&N Design wins graphic design industry award

Manhattan, KS (March 9, 2009)— Manhattan advertising agency S&N Design was recently presented with an award from American Graphic Design & Advertising, for outstanding work on the identification for The Chef. An annual design competition, with a corresponding book highlighting the competition winners, American Graphic Design & Advertising continues an illustrious twenty-five-year legacy as a mainstay for designers who want to keep current with contemporary American design and corporate identity.

Art director Cathy Mores was at the helm of the winning entry. Selected winners will appear in the upcoming publication, American Graphic Design & Advertising 25, available at bookstores this fall. Past winners have included submissions from Adobe, FedEx, and Unilever to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum—and a jury of the industry’s most notable names reviewed thousands of entries to determine this year’s winners.

Nancy Raleigh, partner, said, “It’s humbling to be recognized at this level by our colleagues. It validates that our creative process is successful, in the way that we listen to our clients and interpret their vision for an outcome that is both stragetically effective and visually appealing.”
